Colleen Ashton, Director of Project Management Colleen joined the SBA in June 2003. Previously, she was a consultant at the New York Stock Exchange and Citibank. Colleen earned a B.B.A. in Business Management from Iona College and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program at Mercy College. |

Theresa Ashton, Director of Administration Theresa joined the SBA in June 2007. She has over 18 years of administrative experience working with law enforcement unions. Theresa and her husband, Michael, have 2 children: Katie and Michael. |

Robert Mladinich, Communications Director Robert was appointed to the NYPD in January of 1983. He was promoted to detective in August of 1989 and retired as editor of "Spring 3100," the Department's in-house magazine, in 2003. He joined the SBA in July 2002. He earned a B.S. in journalism from SUNY Brockport and is the author or co-author of three true crime books: "From the Mouth of the Monster: The Joel Rifkin Story;" Lethal Embrace;" and "Hooked Up for Murder." He was also the producer and on-air host of "On the Job," the SBA's weekly radio show. |

Dennis Ostermann, Controller Dennis was appointed to the NYPD in November of 1979. He was promoted to sergeant in February of 1992 and retired from the Operations Unit of the Chief of Department. He joined the SBA in July of 2002. He earned a B.A. in government and politics from St. John's University and an M.B.A. in accounting from Baruch College. |
