Andrew C. Quinn, Esq.
A graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. In 1989, Mr. Quinn was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. He became a felony trial assistant in the Superior Court Trial Division, Major Case Unit, where he oversaw and prosecuted homicide and violent felony cases until his resignation in October 1998.

Upon entering private practice in 1998, Mr. Quinn began representing law enforcement associations. He is currently General Counsel to the Yonkers Police Association, the largest police department in the County of Westchester. He has also represented police officers in administrative and criminal matters from the following jurisdictions: Yonkers, Greenburgh, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Larchmont, Mount Vernon, White Plains, Eastchester, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Irvington and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. He has also represented Court Officers and Corrections Officers from the County and State systems in a variety of legal matters.

Mr. Quinn is the President of Westchester County Brehon Law Society. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and State of New York. He has successfully argued cases before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of the State of New York – Second Department, and the Public Employees Relations Board. Mr. Quinn resides in Ossining, New York, with his wife and three children.


Anthony J. DiFiore, Esq.
A Senior Litigation Associate at the Firm. As a member of the trial team, he is involved in the day-to-day representation of the SBA’s membership and acts as primary legal counsel. Mr. DiFiore handles a large percentage of the administrative and disciplinary cases involving New York City police sergeants in the Trial Room. He also handles complex civil litigation and personal injury matters.

Mr. DiFiore received his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1993, and his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1996. He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bars, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

With over 10 years of civil and criminal litigation experience, Mr. DiFiore has obtained favorable results for his clients in a multitude of litigation settings and jurisdictions throughout the country.


John D’Alessandro, Esq.
A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law where he was awarded a Child and Family Advocacy Fellowship. Prior to joining the Quinn Law Firm, Mr. D’Alessandro had a distinguished twenty year career in law enforcement. During his twenty years with the City of Yonkers Police Department, Mr. D’Alessandro rose through the ranks, retiring as a Detective Sergeant. During his tenure as a detective and homicide investigator he investigated or assisted in the investigation of over one hundred homicides and suspicious death investigations. In 1996 he reopened the unsolved murder of a fourteen year old girl. His four year investigation resulted in the arrest and conviction of a vicious serial killer. Mr. D’Alessandro’s work on this case was profiled on the television show “Cold Case Files”. Prior to retiring from the police department, Mr. D’Alessandro served as the commanding officer of the Westchester County Child Abuse Investigation Team. After his retirement he was appointed by the District Attorney and County Executive to serve as the coordinator of the Westchester County Child Fatality Review Team. In that capacity Mr. D’Alessandro was the first independent coordinator of a Child Fatality Review team in New York State. Mr. D’Alessandro left that position to join The Quinn Law Firm.

Mr. D’Alessandro brings to the practice of law a unique understanding of criminal law, criminal investigation, police administration and public policy.


Bruno V. Gioffre, Jr., Esq.
a Senior Litigation Associate at the Firm. He handles a large percentage of the administrative and disciplinary cases involving New York City police sergeants in the Trial Room. He is also primarily responsible for defending sergeants named in civil rights lawsuits.

Mr. Gioffre is a graduate of Iona College and Pace University Law School. He is admitted to the New York, Connecticut and Florida Bars as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In 1998, Mr. Gioffre was appointed as an Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Attorney General’s Office, primarily defending New York State Troopers and New York State Correctional Officers in federal civil rights actions. In 2002, Mr. Gioffre was appointed to the Florida State Attorney’s Office, prosecuting federal writs of habeus corpus involving death penalty decisions. In the winter of 2002, Mr. Gioffre joined the Firm, and has had extensive experience defending police sergeants in civil, criminal and administrative settings.


Rosa M. Luna-Mole´, Esq.
A litigation associate with the Firm. Ms. Mole´ graduated Pace University Law School in May, 2000. Ms. Luna-Mole´ is fluent in Spanish, and admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey. Ms. Mole´ concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury and criminal law. She is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the Dominican Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
